About the journal
«Digitalization» (formerly called Ethnic Processes in the Arctic, North and Siberia, until 2021) is a periodical printed peer-reviewed journal. It publishes original articles, review articles, abstract, reviews, translations on topical issues in the field of global and local processes of digital transformation of society. The Journal is focused on the coverage of conceptual, methodological, and applied research issues in the field of digitalization. Research conducted by means of digital technologies in the spheres of management, science, education, healthcare, regional studies as well as culture, art and religion is especially relevant to the Journal.
Aims
- to highlight the results of research dedicated to the study of digital transformation processes;
- to highlight research based on the application of digital technologies;
- to contribute to the development of research in the field of digitalization;
- to raise the prestige of research work among today’s youth by involving them in research activities and giving them the opportunity to publish their first professional research results in the Digitalization along with undergraduates, graduate students and the academic elite.
Our audience and our authors
The Journal is aimed at the academic audience and the university community. Authors from various scientific fields, including social sciences, humanities, and engineering, whose research interests are related to the discussion of a wide range of issues in the field of digitalization, are invited for publication in the Digitalization.
Publication languages: manuscripts are accepted both in the Russian and English languages.
Periodicity: the Journal is published 4 times per year.
Founder: Krasnoyarsk regional youth public organization «Union of Young Scientists of Krasnoyarsk».
The Journal is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications. Certificate ПИ NoФС77-76305 dated July 19, 2019.

Rules for reviewing and publishing scientific articles
Manuscripts are accepted by the editorial board of the journal "Digitalization" year-round, published on a first-come, first-served basis. The publication period depends on the degree of content of the journal and is at least 3 months.
All materials submitted to the editorial office of the journal "Digitalization" for publication undergo a double "blind" review procedure. The review is carried out by the members of the editorial board of the journal "Digitalization". All reviewers are recognized experts in the fields corresponding to the thematic focus of the journal, and have published in journals belonging to the core of the RSCI or included in the List of leading peer-reviewed publications over the past three years.
The reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the publication for 5 years.
The editorial board of the publication sends the authors of the submitted materials copies of reviews or a reasoned refusal (for example, in case of violation of publication ethics by the author), and also undertakes to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request to the editorial office of the publication.
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed scientific journal implies compliance with ethical principles on the part of all participants in the preparation of the publication.
The editorial board of the journal Digitalization establishes the norms of publication ethics and reserves the right to reject the publication of an article in case of violation of the above rules.
Responsibility
– undertake to make fair and impartial decisions that do not depend on commercial interests, and organize an objective review process;
– adopt an editorial policy that ensures maximum transparency and full accountability to the author;
– protect the integrity of publications, making corrections if necessary, and issue reasonable refusals to those whose manuscripts do not comply with research or publishing ethics;
– protect the rights of third parties from unauthorized use of materials;
– regulate editorial conflicts of interest;
– critically evaluate the ethical standards of conducting research on humans and animals;
– ensure that authors and reviewers are aware of what is expected of them.
